Fund Formation Associate — Corporate (Washington)

Seeking an associate to join a corporate fund formation team in Washington. The role focuses on sponsor-side private equity and hedge-fund formation work, advising fund managers on structuring and formation transactions.

Candidates will draft and negotiate formation documents, subscription agreements and related transaction documents, and will work with colleagues across corporate and regulatory teams. Familiarity with regulatory issues affecting fund managers, including the Investment Advisers Act, is preferred.

• 3-7 years of experience in fund formation, private equity and/or hedge funds (sponsor-side experience preferred)
• Practical experience drafting and negotiating formation documents and subscription agreements
• Knowledge of regulatory matters affecting fund managers, including the Advisers Act
• Juris Doctor and admission to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction
