Insolvency Associate

We have an immediate opening in one of our major U.S. offices (including Austin, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, or Phoenix) for an Insolvency Associate with a minimum of four years of experience preferred. The ideal candidate will have experience in:

• Creditors' rights
• Commercial bankruptcy
• Workouts
• Receiverships
• Judicial and equitable foreclosures
• Restructurings

Experience with all aspects of litigation, including pre-judgment relief and post-judgment collections, is strongly preferred. The role requires significant in-person hearing and trial appearances and related travel. The associate will work primarily with attorneys in our financial services and capital markets business unit.

Candidates must have a strong academic record, excellent interpersonal skills, strong judgment, the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines, and the ability to articulate legal strategies clearly. An active bar license in the state corresponding to the office of application (or a commitment to obtain one promptly) is required.

We offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and 401K. In Colorado and Illinois, the compensation range for this position is $225,000 to $275,000, commensurate with experience. Associates are also eligible for performance and client development bonuses.
