Apply in confidence →We are seeking a junior or mid-level associate to join our Finance and Projects practice team, with a focus on energy and infrastructure. This role supports a dynamic, growing practice in the region.
Main responsibilities include:
- Assisting with legal research and legal due diligence;
- Preparing and reviewing legal advice and transaction documents;
- Supporting energy, infrastructure, banking, and finance, as well as corporate and M&A transactions in those sectors;
- Providing administrative and matter management support to the practice group.

The successful candidate will demonstrate most or all of the following:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably from a leading Vietnamese university (e.g., Hanoi Law University, Vietnam National University Hanoi, Foreign Trade University, National Economics University, or Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam);
- Completion of the Lawyer Training Course at the Judicial Academy or equivalent;
- Experience at a leading Vietnamese or international law firm;
- Strong technical skills to support client work in the department;
- Excellent English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking, and ability to translate or review translations);
- Experience and strong understanding of energy, banking, and/or corporate/M&A transactions;
- Strong drafting, legal research, and due diligence skills;
- Demonstrated commitment to developing expertise in energy, infrastructure, project finance, banking, and M&A in those sectors;
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work;
- Commercial awareness and business development experience;
- Strong client service orientation and ability to build client relationships;
- Initiative, proactiveness, and ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
- Maturity, resilience under pressure, and comfort working in a culturally diverse global team.
