This role sits within a busy, technically strong group that advises on fund formation and investment management matters; you will act as a strategic advisor on learning, precedents and best practice.
The post-holder will work closely with senior lawyers to design and deliver training, maintain and improve precedents, and drive initiatives that keep the team technically sharp and commercially competitive. The team welcomes candidates from funds, banking or general corporate backgrounds who are interested in a training/technical stewardship role.
The environment is collaborative and supportive, with an emphasis on professional development, knowledge-sharing and cross-office coordination. The role is open to candidates based in the firm’s Scottish offices.
- Qualified solicitor in the UK (or equivalent) with funds, investment management, banking or corporate transactional experience
- Experience in knowledge management, training delivery or precedent development, or a strong interest in moving into this area
- Excellent drafting, presentation and stakeholder-influence skills; comfortable working with senior lawyers
- Collaborative team player with strong organisational skills and attention to technical detail
