Leading national law firm is seeking a junior Labor & Employment associate to join its San Francisco employment litigation team. The group handles a broad range of employer-side matters including wage & hour, class and collective actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, employment agreements, layoffs and ERISA-related issues.

The role focuses on litigation and counseling work: researching and drafting motions and briefs, conducting complex factual investigations, taking and defending depositions, and supporting trial preparation. The office expects in-person attendance a minimum of three days per week.

Applicants must be admitted and in good standing with the California Bar. Resume, cover letter and law school transcript are required for consideration.

2–4 years of employment litigation experience (associate level)
Strong litigation skills: motion practice, legal research and writing
Experience with depositions and factual investigations
Admission and good standing with the California Bar; strong academic record
