We are seeking a Labor & Employment associate with at least 5 years of experience to join the San Francisco office of a global Am Law 100 law firm. Our Labor & Employment group, with more than 150 attorneys firmwide, is one of the largest and most respected practices in the country, advising employers of all sizes—from Fortune 100 companies to high-tech and traditional start-ups—on all aspects of employment law, including wage and hour, class and collective actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, employment agreements, layoffs, and ERISA.

The San Francisco team currently comprises 35 attorneys and continues to expand. We are looking for an exceptional associate with strong litigation skills and deep experience in class and PAGA representative actions, specifically with the ability to take ownership of cases and lead through class certification. The ideal candidate will be adept at researching, writing, and arguing motions; conducting complex fact investigations and analysis; and taking and defending depositions.

This is a full-time, in-office role with a minimum of three days per week in the office. Candidates must be admitted to and in good standing with the California Bar and have high academic credentials. A resume, cover letter, and law school transcript are required to apply.

At least 5 years of employment litigation experience
Strong litigation skills
Deep experience with class and PAGA representative actions
Ability to take ownership of cases and lead through class certification
Strong research, writing, and motion practice skills
Experience conducting complex fact investigations and analysis

Admission to and good standing with the California Bar
High grades / strong academic credentials
