Labor & Employment Labor Relations Associate

We are seeking a Labor & Employment Associate with 3–6 years of experience in traditional labor law to join our San Francisco office. This is an excellent opportunity to work within one of the country's most respected labor and employment practices, advising a diverse client base that includes Fortune 100 companies, startups, and other organizations across all aspects of workplace law—from counseling and litigation to union-management relations.

Our traditional labor team is expanding and offers substantive, hands-on work in the following areas:

• Union Campaigns & Organizing: Advising employers on union organizing drives, conducting vulnerability assessments, and managing strategic communications.
• NLRB Advocacy & Litigation: Handling unfair labor practice proceedings, representation cases, hearings, and related litigation before the NLRB and state labor boards.
• Grievance & Arbitration: Managing contract grievances, interpreting labor agreements, and representing management in arbitrations.
• Collective Bargaining: Serving as a spokesperson or strategist in negotiations, drafting contract language, and advising on labor agreements.
• Crisis Management: Providing rapid-response counseling for labor disputes, restructuring, strikes, picketing, and other workplace crises.
• Corporate Transactions: Counseling clients on labor and employment aspects of M&A, including due diligence, successorship risk, and collective bargaining obligations.

This role requires on-site presence in the office a minimum of three days per week.

• 3–6 years of experience in traditional labor law within a law firm or similar setting.
• Strong background in union campaigns, NLRB proceedings, and collective bargaining.
• Excellent academic credentials and substantive experience in the listed areas.
• Active membership and good standing with the California Bar.
