Join the General Counsel / Legal Risk & Compliance team of a global, sector-focused law firm in London as Legal Counsel. The role provides broad in-house legal support across firm operations, governance and compliance, working closely with global business functions and fee-earners.

Typical matters include advising on firm-wide policies and precedents (e.g. engagement terms, NDAs, escrow/undertakings), data privacy implementation, company secretarial and corporate governance for UK and overseas entities, sanctions screening for proposed engagements, and responding to regulatory requests and complaints. You will also support strategic projects, HR, finance and procurement on contractual and regulatory issues.

Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience, ideally with exposure to corporate governance, compliance, data privacy and commercial contracts.
Ability to deliver pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice; strong drafting and document-review skills.
Excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills; able to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.
Collaborative team player with attention to detail and comfort working across international teams and cultures.
