Mid-Level Associate — Financial Institutions Group, New York

Top-tier New York office seeks a mid-level associate for its Financial Institutions Group to work on M&A and other transactional matters involving banks, insurers and other financial services clients. The role offers substantive deal exposure within the financial institutions space and opportunities to work on Insurance M&A transactions.

Candidates will join a structured mentoring program and a supportive professional-development environment, with access to a hybrid work model and a robust pro bono platform. The position may be eligible for a discretionary year-end bonus; the advertised New York base salary range for this role is $260,000–$365,000, to be determined by experience and other job-related factors.

• Mid-level associate (roughly class years 2021–2023) with prior law firm M&A/transactional experience.
• Experience on financial institutions transactions; Insurance M&A experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated strong academic record and solid law firm training.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and manage deal-oriented deadlines.
