Top-tier intellectual property team in Washington is seeking a junior to mid-level Patent Litigation Associate to join a busy patent litigation practice. The group handles complex district-court and pre-litigation patent matters for clients across technology, telecommunications, software, finance and manufacturing sectors.

Work will include fact and expert discovery, claim construction, motion practice, case strategy and support at all stages of litigation. The team routinely defends and pursues matters against competitors and non-practicing entities and works closely with technical experts; many team members have advanced technical degrees.

Junior to mid-level associate with experience in patent litigation matters
Comfort with claim construction, discovery, briefing and working with technical experts
Technical background or advanced degree (engineering, computer science or similar) preferred
Strong writing, research and oral advocacy skills; ability to manage aspects of complex cases
