Pensions Associate — Pensions (London)

Join a market-leading pensions team in central London as an Associate. The role sits in an integrated pensions, employment and incentives group advising trustees, sponsors and insurers across defined benefit and defined contribution matters.

You will work on a mix of advisory, transactional and contentious work: de‑risking (buy‑ins/buy‑outs), funding and valuation negotiations, scheme governance and documentation, scheme restructurings, and pensions aspects of corporate transactions. The team runs technical training, maintains strong know‑how resources and supports career progression.

This is a hands‑on role with client responsibility, regular interaction with other practice groups (corporate, finance, disputes) and opportunities to supervise junior colleagues.

• Qualified solicitor with c.3+ years PQE in UK pensions law (defined benefit experience preferred)
• Practical experience advising trustees, sponsors or insurers on buy‑ins/buy‑outs, funding, governance and scheme documentation
• Experience with pension litigation/dispute procedures and regulatory investigations advantageous
• Strong drafting, project management and client‑facing skills; able to work collaboratively across teams and supervise junior staff
