Apply in confidence →Our London office is seeking an entrepreneurial and commercially minded Products Professional Support Practitioner (PSP) to play a leading role in shaping the knowledge, training, and innovation strategy of our market-leading Products practice. This is a unique opportunity to become a key player in the team’s delivery of market-leading advice and to support the practice’s status as a thought leader in this area.
Key responsibilities include:
- Legal know-how and updates: Monitor UK and EU legal and regulatory developments relevant to the Products group, including horizon tracking, preparing summaries and alerts, and ensuring new developments are captured in internal and external resources.
- Legal education: Lead the group’s substantive legal training function, chairing know-how meetings, delivering training on legal topics, and coordinating training delivered by others; identify training needs for fee earners.
- Industry and client engagement: Attend industry conferences, support business development by identifying emerging trends, and assist in preparing training and presentation materials for clients.
- Form and precedent drafting/management: Prepare and revise template documents, curate the group’s forms and precedents, and work with Knowledge Services to innovate and automate knowledge capture and document management.
- Assisting fee earners: Build relationships with fee earners and help field day-to-day requests for precedents, templates, training, and other resources.
- New initiatives: Contribute to knowledge management and practice innovation projects alongside the firm’s wider Legal Education and Knowledge Services teams.
The ideal candidate will be an established Products Professional Support Lawyer at an international law firm, preferably with at least 4+ PQE. We will also consider lawyers from international firms or in-house looking to transition into this role.
Success factors include strong technical legal ability (ideally in UK & EU product law), a demonstrated interest in legal technology and AI-enabled solutions, excellent organisational skills, the ability to work autonomously, and strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Established experience as a Products Professional Support Lawyer, ideally with 4+ PQE
- Strong technical legal ability in UK & EU product law and meaningful prior products/regulatory experience
- Demonstrable interest in legal technology, knowledge management, and AI-enabled solutions
- Ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines, and manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with strong presentation ability
