Senior Associate — Leveraged Finance / Private Credit, New York

We are seeking a Senior Associate to join a national finance practice based in New York focused on leveraged finance and private credit. The role involves leading and executing complex sponsor-backed and lender-side financings across sectors in a fast-paced, transactional environment.

Work will include sponsor-backed acquisition financings, multi-lender and syndicated facilities, unitranche and senior/mezzanine structures, cash-flow and asset-based lending, and liability-management and amendment-and-extend transactions. You will work directly with clients and opposing counsel and be expected to drive matters through to closing.

• 5–7 years' transactional experience in leveraged finance or private credit.
• Experience representing lenders, private credit funds, BDCs or non-bank lenders on sponsor-backed and multi-lender financings.
• Hands-on experience with unitranche/first-out–last-out, senior/mezzanine structures, syndicated facilities, intercreditor mechanics and asset-backed or cash-flow lending.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and deal-management skills; client-facing and able to lead transactions to close.
