Senior Associate, Trial & Defense – Los Angeles

Seeking a Senior Associate to join a busy trial and defense litigation team in Los Angeles. The team represents public and private entities in high-exposure matters including employment disputes, personal injury, commercial litigation and class actions. The role requires courtroom-ready advocacy and strong client-facing skills.

Typical responsibilities include managing a docket of matters, leading investigations and case strategy, taking and defending depositions, drafting and responding to discovery, preparing and arguing motions, and producing pre-trial and trial materials. The role involves regular interaction with clients and opposing counsel and participation in mediations and trials.

• Minimum 6 years of litigation experience (mid-level to senior associate).
• Admission to the California bar.
• Proven experience in civil defense matters including depositions, discovery, motion practice and trial preparation.
• Excellent legal research, drafting and oral advocacy skills (experience with Westlaw preferred).
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a caseload and prioritize competing deadlines.
