We are seeking a mid-level litigation associate to join a national trial and defense team in Los Angeles. The practice defends public and private entities in high-exposure matters arising from employment disputes, personal injury, commercial litigation and class actions.

The role involves managing a busy caseload, developing case strategies, taking and defending depositions, drafting and opposing discovery and motions, and preparing pre-trial and trial materials. The team offers hybrid working, mentorship and professional development support within a large, international practice.

Admission to the California bar
6+ years of civil litigation experience, including defense-side matters
Proven experience taking and defending depositions and handling discovery
Strong legal research, drafting and oral advocacy skills
Experience preparing pre-trial and trial documents and participating in mediations/trials
Ability to manage a caseload of multiple active matters and communicate effectively with clients and opposing counsel
