We are seeking a senior conflicts attorney to join our legal risk management team in Chicago. In this role, you will support the clearance of conflicts of interest across our global offices, review outside counsel guidelines, and advise on professional responsibility and legal risk matters.

Review, identify, and resolve potential ethical and business conflicts related to clients, matters, new business, and incoming lateral lawyers.
Conduct thorough reviews of conflicts reports and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Work closely with conflicts and new business intake teams; coordinate search requests and communicate with attorneys firm-wide.
Assist lawyers with engagement letters and waivers; review and negotiate outside counsel guidelines and client-provided terms.
Advise on ethics and professional responsibility questions and other legal risk issues across the firm's global platform.
Stay current on ethics and conflicts best practices and rules across relevant jurisdictions.

Ideal candidates will have a U.S. law degree, an active law license in good standing, and at least five years of related experience in conflicts and legal risk management. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple assignments and work both independently and collaboratively. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement.
