Apply in confidence →We are a leading global law firm seeking an Innovation Attorney to join our regulatory practice. In this role, you will work at the intersection of law, technology, and innovation, helping our lawyers and clients leverage cutting-edge tools—from generative AI to data analytics—to enhance efficiency and deliver exceptional legal services.
You will act as a bridge between our legal teams, clients, and technology department, ensuring our systems and tools are aligned with practice needs. Reporting to the Director of Practice Tech & AI, you will collaborate with practice leaders, technology teams, and committees to embed innovative solutions into everyday legal workflows.
Qualified candidates will possess:
- A JD or equivalent and admission to the relevant state bar
- A minimum of two years of experience as a practicing lawyer in a law firm or in a legal operations role, with regulatory experience
- Strong proficiency with technology, legal technology, and artificial intelligence
- Experience in strategic legal technology projects, ideally evaluating and implementing legal tech solutions in a large law firm, corporate legal department, or enterprise environment
- Knowledge of the lifecycle of a regulatory legal matter (strongly preferred)
- Awareness of or light experience with techniques to increase adoption of legal tech tools and engage lawyers (highly desirable)
- Experience in business analysis, solution design, consulting, and/or client-facing roles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Ability to engage in design thinking and execute projects from concept to completion
- Capacity to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong customer service and problem-solving mindset
- Effective team player in diverse environments; thrives under pressure and meets shifting deadlines
- Self-starter with high initiative, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask
