The Role

You will advise on all aspects of corporate transactions, including public and private M&A, takeovers, disposals, private equity, venture capital, joint ventures and shareholder arrangements. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting and negotiating key transaction documents
  • Providing advice on legal risk
  • Managing client relationships and collaborating with other advisers
  • Meeting key deadlines while delivering integrated service
  • Developing relationships with internal stakeholders and clients
  • Supporting business development activities
  • Mentoring junior team members and contributing to training

What We're Looking For

  • Australian or New Zealand legal admission
  • 3-7 years' experience in a leading corporate M&A practice
  • Excellent academic record and attention to detail
  • Proactive, collaborative approach with the ability to work autonomously
  • Genuine passion for M&A and corporate transactions
  • Innovative mindset with curiosity about AI and emerging technologies
