The Role
You will advise on all aspects of corporate transactions, including public and private M&A, takeovers, disposals, private equity, venture capital, joint ventures and shareholder arrangements. Your responsibilities will include:
- Drafting and negotiating key transaction documents
- Providing advice on legal risk
- Managing client relationships and collaborating with other advisers
- Meeting key deadlines while delivering integrated service
- Developing relationships with internal stakeholders and clients
- Supporting business development activities
- Mentoring junior team members and contributing to training
What We're Looking For
- Australian or New Zealand legal admission
- 3-7 years' experience in a leading corporate M&A practice
- Excellent academic record and attention to detail
- Proactive, collaborative approach with the ability to work autonomously
- Genuine passion for M&A and corporate transactions
- Innovative mindset with curiosity about AI and emerging technologies
