We are seeking a talented and ambitious Trainee Lawyer to join our Investment Management and Funds Financial Services team in Rome. You will support senior lawyers in advising Italian and international asset management companies on the formation and management of alternative investment funds across all asset classes, including real estate, private equity, venture capital, and private debt, as well as advising institutional investors on their alternative investments. The team also assists clients with governance systems, internal control frameworks, remuneration policies and practices, and self-assessment processes for governing bodies. You will handle financial services regulation matters across a wide range of sectors, including asset management, banking, insurance, investment services, payment services, electronic money, and cryptocurrencies.

Legal research and due diligence.
Assistance in drafting legal opinions.
Assistance in contract drafting.
Analysis of contractual agreements and other legal documents.
Full engagement and involvement in client matters.
Law degree with strong academic results.
Preferably sit for the first session of the Italian Bar Exam in 2027.
Excellent communication and drafting skills in Italian and English.
Minimum 6 months' experience in alternative investment funds and financial services regulation matters (preferred).
