Apply in confidence →We are recruiting a Trainee Lawyer or a Lawyer with 1–2 years of PQE to join our Litigation and Regulatory team in Milan. The ideal candidate has proven experience in international financial sanctions and export control, with a background in civil and commercial disputes considered a strong asset. You will advise clients on sanctions and export control matters, support day-to-day compliance with EU and OFAC programs, conduct legal research and analysis, assess legal and compliance risks, and draft memoranda and client communications. You will also assist with commercial and civil litigation and pre-contentious matters, working closely with senior professionals on complex domestic and cross-border cases.
About you
- Italian qualified lawyer
- Excellent academic record
- 1–2 years of PQE (or a trainee expecting to sit the first session of the Italian Bar Exam in 2027)
- Previous experience in international financial sanctions and export control
- Background in commercial law and dispute resolution is a plus
- Excellent communication and drafting skills in Italian and English
- Service-minded, organized, and able to meet deadlines
- Committed, with a strong learning attitude
- Energetic, entrepreneurial, and a motivated team player
