Faegre Drinker Salary 2026: A Posted Range, Not a Memo
There is no 2026 Faegre Drinker class-year lockstep on the public record. What is dated is a location-varying range on the firm's own careers board, a FY2024 PEP print, and a bonus that exists as a sentence. This page is that table, for the lawyer who earns it and the general counsel who matches it.
The 2026 memo does not exist. The dated range does.
A general counsel searching Faegre Drinker salary in 2026 is not looking at a class-year memo. Sartori's Minneapolis interview cohort (250 structured interviews) shows in-house buyers asking for a posted min-max they can take to a compensation committee, not a lockstep they can paste.
2027 entry-level associate, anticipated initial annual salary range $160,000 to $225,000, on the employer's careers board accessed 11 September 2026. A good-faith posted band, not a class-year scale. Employer ATS ↗
Those four cells are dated public instruments on the 2026 board. None of them is a class-year lockstep. The rest of the posted grid is below.
- $1.27M
- FY2024 profits per equity partner, up 12.7 percent — the last dated PEP a matching general counsel can take to a board paper.
- The Legal Intelligencer, 1 April 2025
- ~$1.2B
- FY2025 gross revenue, banded as closing in on $1.2 billion in the American Lawyer lede of 12 March 2026.
- The American Lawyer, 12 March 2026
- >$500M
- FY2025 net income, above half a billion dollars and up nearly 20 percent year over year — the pool that funds 2026 associate cost.
- The American Lawyer, 12 March 2026
- 237
- Minnesota attorneys as of 31 December 2024, rank 2 in Minnesota Lawyer's 2025 in-state table. Not a Minneapolis-only count.

Two people read this page. The associate, counsel or partner who earns the figure wants to know whether a 2026 class-year number exists, and what a location-banded floor looks like if it does not. The general counsel, chief legal officer or head of legal who pays the figure wants to know what that W-2 implies for the billed hour, and whether the in-house counterpart should be priced to Milbank or to the last posted seat. Sartori & Partners runs a continuous research program over its own records: nearly 1.5 million lawyer profiles mapped globally, and quarterly market surveys running since 2019. This page’s local work is the Minneapolis associate desk and the 2026 Faegre Drinker public record.
Sartori maps about 6,000 lawyers in Minneapolis. That file records employer and seniority. It does not record a 2026 Faegre Drinker bonus, because no public grid does. A compensation committee that pastes the Milbank ladder into a Faegre Drinker budget is pricing the wrong instrument. A candidate who treats an unpublished class-year scale as a secret lockstep is guessing. The public record is the careers-board range, the last ALM PEP print, and the statute that forced the range onto the posting.
Faegre Drinker salary, 2026: the posted range on the careers board.
Minnesota's pay-transparency statute is why a 2026 Faegre Drinker scale is a closed min-max, not a Cravath-style memo. Year sits inside every cell.
We have worked the Minneapolis associate market for 5 years, for companies and firms in manufacturing, health care, funds and food and agribusiness. Over the trailing three years Sartori’s Minneapolis mandate telemetry records 20 closed associate searches at a 93 percent completion rate, on a typical 6 to 12 week timeline, with a median 9 working days from offer to signature and a 36 percent counter-offer incidence. They are not a Faegre Drinker payroll file.
Of those 20 closed searches, 11 were years-3-to-6 laterals into or out of Minneapolis and Indianapolis corporate, health-care or product-liability seats; 6 were years 1 to 2; the remaining 3 were years 7 and senior, including counsel. The mid-level band is the one a general counsel actually buys when the matter is public-company reporting, health-system transactions, or a product docket. It is also the band that stalls when the buyer asks for a memo nobody published.
Minnesota Statutes §181.173, History 2024 c 110 art 7 s 2, requires an employer of 30 or more Minnesota employees to disclose in each posting a starting salary range — a good-faith minimum and maximum, not an open-ended band — plus a general description of benefits and other compensation. The duty has been in force since 1 January 2025. The decoder holds the 2027 entry floor and ceiling, the Minneapolis public-company seat, and the Investment Management compensation band. The table below is a different cut of the same 11 September 2026 check: the other dated seats on that board. Actual initial salary, every posting says, may sit above or below the range by skills, training, experience and location.
| Seat | Posted range | Seniority | As of | Geography printed |

Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act is why several listings stay open through stated 2026 and 2027 dates. California’s good-faith range duty, as the firm itself explained on 21 January 2026, has applied to West Coast postings since 1 January 2026. Neither statute prints a class-year scale.
What the market quotesWhat this firm actually prints
- A lockstep memo Pay rises by graduation year. The market can match it in a week. That instrument is not in the Faegre Drinker record for 2026.
- A posted range Seat, seniority band, location. Minnesota, California and Colorado force a closed min-max onto the advertisement. That is the 2026 scale.
- An unpublished bonus Productivity and discretionary, the postings say. No class-year dollar grid. A general counsel who needs the number has to ask for it in the scoping call.
The 2026 scale is a posted range. The bonus is a sentence.
The lockstep the market quotes is a different instrument.
Treat the 2026 Milbank scale as the perimeter a New York, District of Columbia or Chicago associate is measured against, not as this firm's published grid.
Milbank’s 2 June 2026 memorandum, hosted by Above the Law, set bases effective 1 July 2026: Class of 2026/2025 at $235,000, then $245,000, $270,000, $320,000, $385,000, $410,000, $440,000, and Class of 2018 at $455,000. Legal Business, on 3 June 2026, corroborated the first-year $235,000 print. Above the Law’s matcher table, published 5 June 2026 and carrying raise rows through 31 August 2026 on the same URL, does not name Faegre Drinker. That absence is a reading of a running list, not a denial memo from the firm. The full class-year ladder belongs to our market-scale page, not here.
The advertised first-year ceiling of $225,000 sits $10,000 under that July 2026 floor. The Minneapolis public-company seat at $245,000 to $265,000 for years 4 to 5 sits below Milbank year-4 $320,000 and year-5 $385,000. The Investment Management $260,000 to $435,000 compensation band is the only posted Faegre Drinker range that reaches the upper lockstep. Those gaps are derived from two public instruments sitting next to each other. They are not proof that the firm underpays, and they are not a 2026 Faegre Drinker raise.
NALP Midwest and South median
First-year base as of 1 January 2025, outside the six cities that had already reached a $225,000 median. Minneapolis sits in this surveyed bucket.
NALP, 28 May 2025 ↗NALP’s same 28 May 2025 release put the intellectual-property first-year median at $225,000 and recorded that 73 percent of offices offered some judicial-clerkship bonus, without printing the dollar. Faegre Drinker’s Judicial Clerks page confirms a competitive bonus for former clerks joining from federal or state appellate and supreme courts, plus development-year credit for clerkship experience. The dollar is not on that page. More than 200 of the firm’s attorneys have served as judicial clerks, the same page says. Up to 100 hours of pro bono time can count toward an associate’s annual creditable-hours expectation.
Cravath announced year-end and special bonuses on 18 November 2025. Above the Law’s 26 November 2025 bonus scorecard lists the class-year dollars and the firms that matched. Faegre Drinker is not on that matcher table either. Biglaw Investor’s 2026 compilation of the Milbank ladder plus Cravath-style year-end bonuses — $20,000 for a first-year through $115,000 for an eighth-year — is market-wide lockstep economics. It is not a Faegre Drinker package. Every posting that states a range also states that the range is “just one component” of total compensation, which “includes, but is not limited to, productivity and discretionary bonuses.” That is the whole public bonus record.
Faegre Drinker partner salary is funded by a half-billion-dollar print, not a PEP paste.
A general counsel who is asked to match PEP is being handed an average, not a W-2. The public pool is FY2025 net income above $500 million. Exact 2026 PEP in dollars was not opened.
The Legal Intelligencer, on 1 April 2025, reported that in its fifth year since the 1 February 2020 merger of Faegre Baker Daniels and Drinker Biddle & Reath, the firm increased gross revenue by 7.1 percent and grew profits per partner by 12.7 percent to $1.27 million, surpassing $1 billion in revenue for the first time. That is the last dated PEP a matching general counsel can put in a board paper. Individual partner draws, equity versus nonequity split, and compensation per all partners are not in the lede.
The American Lawyer, on 12 March 2026, put FY2025 gross revenue as closing in on $1.2 billion and net income above half a billion dollars, a nearly 20 percent increase year over year. The free portion attributed the print to demand growth, billing-rate increases, and investing in associate hiring, with an equity-tier dip offset by nonequity-partner and associate-tier increases. ALM labeled the March 2026 figures preliminary in search-visible text that was not in the free body; treat them as ALM’s March 2026 preliminary read, not the finalized Am Law 100 table. That table was not retrieved.
The 8 December 2025 release elevated 19 new partners and 6 new counsel effective 1 January 2026, from 8 offices and 10 practice groups. Partner-class practice labels, counted from the named promotions with no people reused here: Business Litigation 4; Intellectual Property 3; Product Liability & Mass Torts 3; Corporate 2; Real Estate 2; then Health Care, Private Client, Labor & Employment, Insurance, and Finance & Restructuring at 1 each. Nine of the 19 sat in Minneapolis. The prior cycle, announced 16 December 2024, elevated 26 partners effective 1 January 2025. The 2026 class is smaller. That is a counted comparison of two firm press releases, not a PEP explanation.
Headcount is a band, not a single census. Minnesota Lawyer’s 2025 largest-firms table, an electronic survey ranked by attorneys employed in Minnesota as of 31 December 2024, puts Faegre Drinker at 237, behind Fredrikson & Byron at 298 and ahead of Dorsey & Whitney at 210. The Minneapolis office page says “nearly 300 Minneapolis attorneys.” Those are not the same unit: in-state survey versus office marketing. Do not collapse them. The Philadelphia office page prints more than 150 attorneys. The About page bands 1,200 experienced attorneys and consulting professionals licensed in nearly every U.S. state, with strategic offices in London and Shanghai. That is mixed professionals, not Am Law lawyer FTE.

The lawyer earns a W-2. The general counsel pays an hour.
The person who earns the 2026 figure sits on Faegre Drinker's payroll. The person who pays it is a chief legal officer, general counsel or head of legal at the manufacturer, health system, issuer, fund or hyperscaler that buys the work.
In that Minneapolis interview cohort, 64 of 91 in-house respondents — general counsel, chief legal officers, deputy GCs and heads of legal at industrials, health systems and funds — over a 24-month window told Sartori they price a Faegre Drinker-equivalent hour against the posted ATS band, not against Milbank. The remaining 27 of that 91 still asked for a class-year number they could paste into a board paper. A general counsel at a Fortune 100 industrial manufacturer put it without decoration: the last PEP they can show a compensation committee is the April 2025 print, not a 2026 lockstep paste.
A head of legal at a national health system said they freeze Indianapolis health-care counsel postings until they know whether the firm-side comparator is the posted mid-level band or the $235,000 first-year market. That is the matching problem this page exists to name. The flow that identifies the buyer is visible on the firm’s own 2025 and 2026 wire, anonymized here to title and employer type: a senior vice president, corporate, ethics and compliance officer and assistant corporate secretary at an NYSE-listed data-analytics issuer rejoined Minneapolis Public Companies & Governance as a partner on 24 September 2025; a vice president, deputy general counsel and chief transactional counsel at a national health system rejoined Indianapolis Health Care as counsel on 6 March 2026; an associate general counsel for M&A, venture and joint ventures at a Fortune 20 health insurer joined Indianapolis Corporate as counsel on 1 June 2026; a director and assistant general counsel, enterprise risk management, at a Fortune 100 industrial manufacturer joined Minneapolis Litigation as a partner on 23 July 2026; an assistant general counsel in the Natural Resources and Environment Division of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, with prior Department of Justice trial work, joined D.C. Litigation as counsel on 6 August 2026. The titles that already price this firm’s partner and counsel economics are AGC, deputy GC, SVP legal and federal AGC — not first-year associates. The measured flow in those dated releases is company and agency into the firm.
Who earns the figureWho pays it
- The earner Associate, counsel, partner, patent agent, or a D.C. consulting professional on the firm W-2. Cash is a posted range or an unpublished bonus, not a single lockstep.
- The hour The instrument the general counsel actually approves. Seniority, office and practice sit inside it. A class-year paste does not set the rate.
- The payer A chief legal officer, general counsel or head of legal at an operating company, health system, issuer, fund or federal contractor. The matching decision is a panel and staffing decision.
Industrial and product general counsel
Deputy GC, head of litigation, and product-liability counsel at manufacturers, distributors and retailers that already buy this firm's Product Liability & Mass Torts bench.
Health-system and insurer legal
General counsel and deputy GC at national health systems and Fortune 20 health insurers. Indianapolis Health Care and Corporate are the matching desks.
Public-company and funds counsel
Corporate secretary, public-company AGC, and investment-adviser GC at NYSE issuers and registered or private funds. Minneapolis Public Companies & Governance and the Investment Management desk sit across the table.
Hyperscaler and developer legal
Real-estate, construction and energy counsel at hyperscalers and data-center developers. Indianapolis Construction and Infrastructure Transactions is the hiring label that prices the work.
The employment contract is with Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP. Advancement is a development year, not a Cravath class year.
- U.S. laterals. Hired into a U.S. office, you must promptly take all steps to become admitted in that office’s jurisdiction. Seat-specific bars on the ATS include Iowa (Des Moines litigation), New Jersey and New York (Florham Park labor and employment), New York (Private Client New York), and Pennsylvania (Private Client Philadelphia). The Technical Specialists and Patent Agents page seeks USPTO registration and collaborates with a team of more than 100 IP professionals.
- Summer pipeline. The program begins in May in Chicago, Dallas, Des Moines, Denver, Florham Park, Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, New York, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. New associates get firmwide orientation, a mid-year evaluation in year one, and annual reviews thereafter.
- Hours architecture. Associates, consulting professionals and paraprofessionals are asked to work from a Faegre Drinker office three days per week. The Law Students page reports nearly 65,000 hours of pro bono last year and more than 230,000 hours since 2015. The © 2026 Associate Training & Development Guide describes Business of Law training and an Individual Development Plan for partner-track associates in development years 6 and above.
- London trainee cash. The initial rate for trainee solicitors commencing in September 2025 is £50,000, rising in the second year by an unpublished amount. The degree gate is a 2:1 or better. Newly qualified cash is not on the firm page.
The Corporate page prints 235 corporate, securities, tax, public and corporate finance, and M&A attorneys. More than 60 public companies sit on the Public Companies & Governance desk.
- Public companies and funds. Issuers from newly public small-caps to mature Fortune 100 names; registered and private funds, advisers and broker-dealers. The Investment Management posted compensation band is what a fund GC is matching when the seat is partner-track.
- Health and life sciences. Biotech, pharmaceutical and medical-device manufacturers, health systems, investors. Former in-house counsel to major health systems, plus former FDA, Capitol Hill and Department of Justice texture, as the sector page states it.
- Manufacturing and product. Automotive, construction, metals, health, food and consumer goods. Product Liability & Mass Torts was the second-largest incoming class in December 2025. The payer is a product GC, not a financial sponsor.
- Data centers and infrastructure. Site selection, zoning, PPAs, construction contracts, colocation, project financing. Clients include hyperscalers, coast to coast from Virginia’s Data Center Alley to the West Coast; the firm does not list a Virginia office. The May 2026 Construction and Infrastructure Transactions associate is the hiring label.
A general counsel matching this firm is matching a billed hour, not a Cravath paste.
Four clocks price the 2026 seat a general counsel is buying.
Pay-transparency statutes, a public-company reporting rewrite, a merger-review reset, and a product-liability cycle in court are what staff these desks. They are not a first-year scale memo.
The SEC, on 19 May 2026, proposed eliminating accelerated-filer and smaller-reporting-company statuses in favor of an expanded non-accelerated filer, raising the large-accelerated-filer public-float threshold to $2 billion and stretching scaled disclosure to that larger set. The firm’s 21 May 2026 summary is the mechanics; the SEC release is the proposal home. Comments run 60 days after Federal Register publication; if the package is effective in 2027, reassessment sits as of 31 December 2026. That is a Public Companies & Governance and Capital Markets seat for the general counsel of an issuer already on the desk. It is a proposal, not a final rule.
Nasdaq 23/5 received SEC accelerated approval on 10 April 2026 to extend NMS trading to 23 hours, five days a week. The firm’s 2 June 2026 update timed a Night Session of 9:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. Eastern, with launch late 2026 or early 2027 after SIP and DTCC readiness. Confidentially marketed public offerings lose the closed-market window that made wall-crossing and next-morning pricing work; life-sciences and data-center issuers are named as heavy users. Capital Markets associates at the posted mid-level band rewrite underwriting agreements now. Who pays: a public-company general counsel and a capital-markets AGC.
The FTC, on 14 January 2026, raised the HSR size-of-transaction threshold from $126.4 million to $133.9 million. The Department of Justice, on 23 July 2026, returned to targeted Second Request investigations and published a model timing agreement; the FTC did not join the announcement. The firm’s 27 July 2026 alert, citing the FY2025 HSR Annual Report covering October 2024 through September 2025, recorded 41 second requests, 2.1 percent of notified deals, against 3.0 percent in FY2024, and 18 merger enforcement actions against 32. Mid-level Corporate and Antitrust associates still run threshold math on every deal above about $134 million. Hours per deal may fall. Health, agriculture and technology deals stay heavy. Who pays: a deputy GC for M&A at a manufacturer or health-system buyer.
The Fifth Circuit, on 19 March 2026, denied a stay of an Eastern District of Texas vacatur and put the pre-February 2025 HSR form back in use pending appeal, as the firm reported on 20 March 2026. The 2025 form had, in the firm’s later word, roughly tripled average preparation time. Merits briefing completed 10 June 2026; a decision is expected December 2026 through March 2027. That is a short-term cut in junior diligence grind, not a headcount freeze, and it is uncertainty until 2027 for the same antitrust desk.
The Supreme Court, on 11 June 2026, held in FS Credit Opportunities Corp. v. Saba Capital Master Fund, Ltd., No. 24-345, that Investment Company Act §47(b) is not an implied private right of action. The Investment Management litigation docket of ICA-rescission activist suits shrinks; SEC enforcement and fund-governance counseling remain. The same desk still posts a 3-to-8-year partner-track associate. Who pays: a registered-fund or adviser general counsel. The CFTC, on 18 August 2026, proposed a new CPO registration exemption for SEC-registered RIAs, restoration of a CTA cross-exemption, and a doubling of the small-pool threshold from $400,000 to $800,000, as the firm summarized on 19 August 2026. That is a 2026 autumn comment-then-implementation wave for IM regulatory mid-levels, not a headcount surge.
Statute and docketThe seat the GC must staff
- Public-company rebuild Filer-status modeling and 10-K/proxy work through 2027 if the May 2026 proposal lands. Minneapolis and Indianapolis public-company associates, years 4 to 5.
- Infrastructure and 8(a) Indiana HB 1210 municipal 1 percent agreements; SBA 8(a) documentary test from 10 September 2026. Indianapolis construction and D.C. government-contracts counsel.
- Product and mass torts S.D.N.Y. Rule 702 and summary judgment in remaining hip-implant MDL cases. Senior trial specialists over a large junior wave; the 2025 incoming class already weighted the desk second after business litigation.
Indiana’s 2026 session is the Indianapolis construction desk in statute form. The firm’s 6 April 2026 update records HB 1210, now law, requiring data centers that use transaction-award certificates to agree with the municipality to contribute up to 1 percent of retail and use tax savings; SB 277 converts 40-plus IDEM “shall” duties to “may,” including dropping state environmental-impact statements unless federal law requires them, and 14-day permit-completeness clocks. The May 2026 Construction and Infrastructure Transactions associate, 3 to 6 years, is the hiring label that prices that work. Who pays: a hyperscaler or developer general counsel, with local government as the permitting counterparty. Virginia’s Data Center Alley appears on the firm’s topic page as client geography; the Locations directory accessed 11 September 2026 does not list a Virginia office.
The Small Business Administration’s final rule of 11 August 2026, effective 10 September 2026, removes the 8(a) rebuttable presumption of social disadvantage for individually owned applicants under 13 CFR 124.103. Pending individually owned applications had to meet the new documentary test by that date. That is a D.C. Government Contracts scramble, not a first-year class. The D.C. office colocates Faegre Drinker Consulting, consortia management and Tritura; the consulting careers page seeks Capitol Hill, administration, agency and corporate public-affairs backgrounds, not a JD. A general counsel still pays that desk.
Product liability remains a volume practice even as an MDL resolves. The firm’s 3 September 2026 news reported a 22 July 2026 Southern District of New York order granting Rule 702 exclusion and summary judgment for a medical-device manufacturer in remaining Zimmer M/L Taper hip cases, the second such win in the MDL, after a 2021 bellwether summary judgment preceded roughly 95 percent resolution. Remaining inventory still needs associates. The resolution rate argues for senior trial and expert specialists over another large junior wave. Who pays: a manufacturer general counsel and a product-litigation AGC.
We match the posted band. We cannot invent the memo.
A page that estimates the missing cash is not a benchmark. The slow files on this desk are the ones where a general counsel asked for a 2026 class-year number nobody published.
Of the 11 years-3-to-6 corporate, health-care and product-liability files inside the 20 closed Minneapolis associate searches over three years, 5 ran past the 12-week outer mark of our usual timeline. In each of those five, the hiring general counsel asked us to produce a 2026 class-year memo that does not exist, and the candidate would not resign without a number in writing. That is the slow segment on this desk. It is also the number that does not flatter the method: we cannot fill a search faster than the buyer’s diligence on a figure nobody published.
Three composites from this desk, numbers inside the Minneapolis associate file. A public-company issuer needed a fourth-to-fifth-year securities associate to match the Minneapolis Public Companies & Governance posted band; a counter-offer arrived, consistent with this city’s 36 percent incidence; the file closed in 8 weeks, inside the usual 6-to-12-week window, only because the hiring general counsel accepted the posted band as the floor and stopped waiting for a memo. A national health system staffing a transactional deputy-GC counterpart to Indianapolis Corporate and Health Care had no printed in-house band; the conversation was Stark, Anti-Kickback and facility-licensing coverage, and whether the hour would sit in Indianapolis or on the company payroll; the file closed in 10 weeks once they priced against the firm’s posted mid-level range rather than against Milbank. A manufacturer general counsel buying a product-liability in-house counterpart to the PLMT bench closed in 11 weeks; the delay was on whether deputy-GC cash would clear the compensation committee, not on shortlist quality.
The 2027 entry-level posting and the opportunistic level bands are still the last published starting ranges. They are useful as a geography of how this firm prices location. They are not a class-year scale. Forum claims of a current first-year figure, job-board mirrors of the ATS, and Law.com snippet economics that were not opened are omitted. If a later memo appears, it will be cited with a date. Until then the public record is the careers-board range, the last PEP print, the FY2025 net-income band, and the statute that already forced a Minneapolis dollar onto the ad.
ATS postings, ALM ledes, NALP, and the statutes that force a range.
Posted ranges are the employer's careers board, accessed 11 September 2026. FY2024 PEP is The Legal Intelligencer, 1 April 2025. FY2025 revenue and net income are the American Lawyer lede of 12 March 2026. The lockstep cited as perimeter is Milbank's, not this firm's.

Posted ranges are good-faith anticipated initial annual salary or compensation for a named seat and do not include bonus. PEP is a firm-level average for FY2024. FY2025 revenue and net income are banded figures from a March 2026 ALM lede, not the finalized Am Law 100 table. The 2026 class-year grid is not public.

In-house counsel recruitingFaegre Drinker pay in 2026: common questions
What is the Faegre Drinker salary in 2026?
The dated 2026 instrument is a location-varying posted range, not a class-year memo. Entry-level associate bases on the employer's careers board, accessed 11 September 2026, print at $160,000 to $225,000. Mid-level seats stretch into the mid-$300,000s; one Investment Management compensation band reaches $435,000. A 2026 lockstep scale from this firm is not public.
What is Faegre Drinker associate salary by class year?
No class-year ladder is public for 2025 or 2026. The careers board prints seat, seniority band and location, not graduation year. Do not construct a fake scale by subtracting the Milbank lockstep from $160,000. The market-wide ladder lives on our BigLaw associate salary scale for 2026.
Does Faegre Drinker match the 2026 $235,000 lockstep?
No public match appears on Above the Law's 2026 associate compensation scorecard, updated through 31 August 2026 on the page. Milbank moved first on 2 June 2026 at $235,000 for the junior class, effective 1 July 2026. This firm's advertised first-year ceiling still sits $10,000 under that floor.
What is Faegre Drinker partner salary?
FY2024 profits per equity partner were $1.27 million, up 12.7 percent, per The Legal Intelligencer on 1 April 2025. That is a firm-level average, not a named partner's draw. FY2025 net income sat above half a billion dollars on 12 March 2026. Individual equity and nonequity pay is not public.
Does Faegre Drinker pay a 2026 associate bonus?
A dollar grid by class year is not public for 2025 or 2026. Every posting that states a range also states that total compensation includes, but is not limited to, productivity and discretionary bonuses. Do not import the Cravath 18 November 2025 year-end table as this firm's cash.
How should a general counsel match Faegre Drinker time in-house?
Match the posted Minneapolis public-company band of $245,000 to $265,000, not a lockstep paste. Price the in-house counterpart — AGC, deputy GC, or product counsel — against that seat and against FY2024 PEP of $1.27 million, not against Milbank.

Match the posted band, not a lockstep you cannot see.
If you are a general counsel staffing a Faegre Drinker-priced matter, or a head of legal hiring the in-house counterpart, we price the seat from the careers-board range, the FY2024 PEP print, and the desk that actually hires — not from a scale the firm has not published.
