What it costs to match a Holland & Knight associate in 2026
The last nationwide Holland & Knight associate base table is dated 13 July 2021: $205,000 first-year to $365,000 eighth-year, effective 1 August 2021. No 2026 class-year grid and no 2025 year-end bonus memo were public as of 30 September 2026. The cash a general counsel can cite is that 2021 table, the 27 December 2024 two-tier bonus, and the 2026 Milbank perimeter the firm has not printed.
The first number is dated. The 2026 grid is not public.
The last nationwide Holland & Knight associate base table, published 13 July 2021 and effective 1 August 2021, ran from $205,000 to $365,000. A general counsel searching Holland & Knight salary in 2026 is matching two geographies of 2024 bonus cash, not a class-year grid printed this year. In-house buyers in the Tampa interview cohort ask for the last public bonus geography they can take to a compensation committee.
Last published Holland & Knight first-year base, nationwide, effective 1 August 2021: $205,000. This is the firm’s number. It is not a 2026 scale. Above the Law ↗

Two readers use these figures. The associate or partner who earns the cash wants the last memo that actually named a dollar, and the market around that dollar if they walk. The general counsel, chief legal officer or head of legal who pays the cash wants to know what that W-2 does to an in-house band, and whether the cheaper move is to rent the hour. Sartori & Partners maps 1,480,000+ lawyers. The local file is the Tampa associate desk — 250 structured interviews — and the Holland & Knight public pay record.
Holland & Knight has not published a 2026 class-year table. The cost to match is still a dated number. A compensation committee that pastes the 2026 Milbank ladder into a Holland & Knight budget is pricing a matcher’s instrument. A candidate who treats Tampa silence as a secret New York lockstep is guessing. The public record is the 2021 grid, the 2022 office split, the 2024 bonus geography, and the rate the client already pays.
The last published Holland & Knight salary table is dated 2021.
On 13 July 2021 Above the Law printed the firm memo: partner-track U.S. associates, satisfactory performance, effective 1 August 2021. That is still the last complete class-year base table in a primary memo.
The May 2021 lockstep, reported by Above the Law on 13 May 2021, put a single scale across all U.S. offices. The July memo replaced the dollars. Payment was delayed to about 30 September 2021; the increases were retroactive to 1 August, the same date as the Thompson & Knight combination. More experienced associates, senior counsel and advisors were reviewed individually above the eighth-year rung. That eight-year top is the same length as the partnership application clock on the firm’s experienced-attorney FAQ, fetched 30 September 2026.

On 24 March 2022 Above the Law reported that, after the firm’s strongest financial year to that date, named major-market offices matched “that top-of-the-market compensation grid popularized by Cravath,” retroactive to 1 January: Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Fort Worth, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Orange County, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Stamford, Tysons and Washington, D.C. Then-market first-year lockstep was $215,000, the 2022 Cravath / Davis Polk grid on Biglaw Investor’s historical table. Regional U.S. offices were not on that grid. That is the last dated public confirmation that Holland & Knight paid market lockstep in named major-market seats — and the first public split of those seats from the rest of the platform.
No Holland & Knight base-raise memo for 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026 was public as of 30 September 2026. No 2025 year-end bonus memo was either. Cravath’s 28 November 2023 raise, effective 1 January 2024, set the industry grid that held as the 2025 scale: first-year $225,000 through eighth-year $435,000, with a fifth-year of $365,000 (Above the Law; TaxProf Blog’s prior-scale column, 1 August 2026). That ladder is the 2025 cost-to-match perimeter. It is not this firm’s 2026 scale. Milbank, on 2 June 2026, raised years 1–4 by $10,000 and years 5–8 by $20,000, effective 1 July, to $235,000–$455,000 (Above the Law). The class-year table TaxProf Blog published on 1 August 2026 puts the fifth-year, class of 2021, at $385,000. Reuters, on 27 July 2026, reported Milbank special bonuses from $6,000 for first-years to $25,000. Holland & Knight has not printed those dollars. The matcher list is on our BigLaw associate salary scale for 2026. Holland & Knight is not on it.
Holland & Knight has not published a 2026 class-year table. The cost to match is still a dated number.
Tampa is a Group 1 bonus seat. Miami is not.
The 27 December 2024 bonus memo is the last public cash event. It does not restore a nationwide lockstep. It prices two United States geographies against a 2,000-hour target.
One U.S. gridTwo bonus geographies
- Nationwide table A single partner-track base across U.S. offices. That is the 2021 memo. It is the last complete class-year grid the firm put on paper.
- Major-market split Named offices match then-market Cravath. Regional offices do not. March 2022 is the public split, not a new printed ladder for every city.
- Two-tier bonus Group 2 matches the Milbank year-end scale. Group 1, including Tampa, sits on a discounted band. Base by office for 2026 is not in the memo.
Above the Law, on 3 January 2025, reported the 27 December 2024 memo. Group 1 (regional) offices: Birmingham, Chattanooga, Jacksonville, Nashville, Orlando, Portland, Richmond, Tallahassee and Tampa. Group 2 (major market): Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Century City, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Fort Lauderdale, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Newport Beach, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Stamford, Tysons, Washington, D.C. and West Palm Beach. Additional money for exceptional billable hours and originations. Associates who came close to the 2,000-hour target were considered for partial bonuses. Payout followed performance evaluations in the first quarter of 2025.
The American Lawyer, in the 25 March 2025 reprint the firm hosts, states that Holland & Knight matched the Milbank associate bonus scale to open the year. Group 2 year-end bands ran $15,000 to $115,000 with specials of $6,000 to $25,000. Group 1 year-end bands ran $10,000 to $80,000 with exceptional specials of $4,500 to $16,700. The class-year rungs Group 2 matched are the Milbank 2024 year-end grid the ABA Journal printed on 12 November 2024. Combined year-end plus special for a senior Group 2 associate: $140,000. Group 1 class-year rungs were not in the OCR. They are omitted here.

NALP had not published a 2026 U.S. Associate Salary Survey as of 30 September 2026. The 2025 survey, salaries as of 1 January 2025, is market context, not this firm and not a 2026 Holland & Knight posting. Median first-year base was $200,000 across 437 responding offices, and $215,000 in firms of 701-plus lawyers. $225,000 was the modal figure — 32 percent of offices, 45 percent of 701-plus offices — not the median. Six of 19 reported cities had a $225,000 median, including Austin, Boston, Houston, New York City, San Francisco and the Washington, D.C. area. Nashville, a Group 1 Holland & Knight seat, had 0.0 percent of offices (n=6) at $225,000. Miami / West Palm Beach, Group 2 seats, had 30.8 percent (n=13). Atlanta, also Group 2, had 33.3 percent (n=9). A Tampa-based general counsel who treats $225,000 as the posted local first-year is reading a modal Big Law figure, not a Group 1 posting.
Tampa is a Group 1 bonus seat. Miami is not.
Matching a fifth-year is an associate general counsel problem.
The person who earns the figure sits on a class-year ladder, or on the last public bonus geography. The person who pays it sits in a legal department whose median bands are a different instrument.
Operating-company general counsel
Fortune 1000 and mid-market chief legal officers who already buy Holland & Knight hours in finance, healthcare, real estate and industrials — and who later bid for the same associates onto the company payroll.
Private-equity and portfolio GC
Sponsor and portfolio-company general counsel competing for mid-level corporate, fund and CFIUS seats. The matching buyer is the fund or the portfolio company, not a first-year Attorney title.
REIT, hyperscaler and utility legal
Associate general counsel for real estate, energy and interconnection who must staff the same large-load and data-center files the firm's 2025–26 announcements billed.
Defense-prime and dual-use legal
Deputy general counsel and government-contracts counsel at primes, systems integrators and dual-use technology companies. Clearance and FOCI literacy are gates on the hire, not decorations on the posting.
The Association of Corporate Counsel and Empsight, in the 2025 Law Department Compensation Survey with data effective 1 March 2025, surveyed 1,632 self-reported U.S. in-house professionals. The median bases on the scale below are that 2025 survey, not a 2026 Holland & Knight memo and not the 2026 in-house edition. Large-company ($5 billion-plus revenue) chief legal officers: median total target direct compensation exceeding $1 million. An attorney with prior law-firm experience: +16 percent median base and +18 percent total cash. Matching a 2026 matcher fifth-year of $385,000 exceeds the 2025 Associate General Counsel median base of $245,000. Matching a 2026 matcher eighth-year of $455,000 exceeds the 2025 GC / chief legal officer median base of $330,000 before bonus. Holland & Knight has not printed either matcher rung. Do not staff that hire as “Attorney.”
The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics Occupational Outlook Handbook, last modified 27 August 2026, still puts the median annual wage for lawyers at $159,670 in May 2025. May 2026 wages were not the published median. That figure is the national occupational median, not Big Law and not this firm. A 2026 matcher first-year of $235,000 is about 1.5 times that median. The 2021 Holland & Knight eighth-year of $365,000 is about 2.3 times it. A 2026 matcher eighth-year of $455,000 is about 2.8 times it.

ACC 2025 survey ↗Keep the firm W-2Rent the specialist
- Pay the firm The associate stays on the law-firm payroll. The company buys the hour. Headcount does not move. The billed rate is the matching act.
- Match on payroll The company hires the same person as Associate General Counsel or Deputy GC. The W-2 has to clear a compensation committee built for in-house bands.
- Rent the desk CFIUS, data-center energy, government contracts. Frozen headcount, rising specialist spend. The 2026 CLO survey is this stop, not a lockstep paste.
The 2026 ACC / Empsight Law Department Compensation Survey, executive summary dated 15 September 2026, received 1,627 U.S. responses. Fieldwork ran 30 April to 26 June 2026. The data effective date is 1 March 2026 (ACC benchmarking page). A free title-level dollar table was not in the sources retrieved 30 September 2026, so the scale above keeps the 2025 cells and labels them 2025. Lexpert, on 17 September 2026, reported three findings from that 2026 survey: division and subsidiary general counsel base up 22 percent and total cash up 20 percent since 2023; general counsel and chief legal officers at large organizations with a median base 90 percent higher than at smaller organizations; and 16 percent of promoted lawyers reporting raises of 20 percent or more, with the majority of promoted lawyers under 10 percent. Those are growth rates, not a replacement for the $245,000 Associate General Counsel cell.
The 2026 ACC Chief Legal Officers Survey, released 29 January 2026 with FTI Consulting — 1,049 chief legal officers in 43 countries — is the buyer posture. 63 percent expect legal-department headcount to remain stable. 48 percent increased use of outside counsel. 27 percent increased consultants. 35 percent cite chronic budget and resource constraints as the top barrier. Operational efficiency is the top strategic initiative (53 percent). 36 percent are already in active GenAI deployment. 84 percent of CLOs report to the CEO. Trade and tariffs: 30 percent. AI regulation was the largest year-over-year increase. Matching a Holland & Knight associate onto an in-house seat is a budget-constrained chief legal officer problem. It is not a 2026 class-year the firm has printed.
The firm-side clock is eight years long, and most juniors never sit a public class-year grid.
- Summer is the junior door. The firm hires the majority of junior associates from a 10-week summer program, with an expectation of a full-time offer, on the summer page accessed 11 September 2026. The 2027 2L cycle uses the Suited assessment. No public 2026 summer-class headcount is in this file.
- Partnership is two-class. Lawyers may apply after eight years of creditable service. Income and equity are the two partner classifications on the FAQ. That clock is the same length as the 2021 scale’s top rung. Senior counsel, advisors and senior policy advisor sit off the printed associate grid.
- Pay is reviewed annually, by market. The FAQ states that associate salaries may vary by market and that associates are eligible for a discretionary bonus. It does not publish class-year dollars. A 2026 Holland & Knight associate salary conversation that begins with the FAQ will not find a ladder.
The in-house clock is a compensation-committee clock, and Florida adds a bar gate.
- Title before dollar. Matching a major-market fifth-year is an Associate General Counsel or Deputy GC conversation. A 2026 matcher first-year of $235,000, and the 2025 lockstep first-year of $225,000, both clear the ACC 2025 Attorney 90th-percentile base of $204,000. The 2026 ACC survey did not publish a replacement 90th in the sources retrieved 30 September 2026. Do not staff this hire as “Attorney.”
- Florida Authorized House Counsel. Chapter 17 of the Rules Regulating The Florida Bar (June 2026 compilation) lets an out-of-state lawyer employed exclusively by a Florida business organization give advice to that employer without sitting the Florida bar. Governmental entities are excluded. Certification ends when employment ends, with a 30-day bridge. A Tampa company can use it. A Florida agency cannot.
- Frozen headcount, rented specialists. Most chief legal officers in that 2026 survey expect stable headcount and have increased outside counsel. The must-have in-house seats are CFIUS, data-center development, government contracts and financial-services regulatory — not a generalist lockstep paste.
The hours that pay the scale sit on a few named desks.
2024 and 2025 results funded bonuses and partner adds. The 2026 market around those hours is national-security statute, large-load federal dockets, and a trade pact that was not extended.
The American Lawyer, on 20 March 2026, reported 2025 gross revenue rising over 9 percent to surpass $2.2 billion, with Compass supplying the unrounded $2,230,236,000. Net income rose 13 percent. The firm added 68 partners in 2025, after 53 new partners in 2024, when the equity tier grew just over 1 percent. Demand for data-center work was particularly strong; financial services, corporate and M&A, real estate, regulatory and private wealth all performed well. Thomson Reuters Institute and Georgetown Law, in the 7 January 2026 Report on the State of the US Legal Market, put 2025 U.S. legal demand at +2.5 percent (peak +4.4 percent in July), worked rates at +7.3 percent, and the average Am Law 100 lawyer’s standard rates through the $1,000 barrier, while everyone else averaged around $600. 90 percent of legal dollars remained hourly. Holland & Knight’s own 2024 rate increases of 7 to 9 percent, in the 25 March 2025 reprint, sit inside that worked-rate print. The same TAL reprint said the firm had not made significant changes to its compensation structure and had no plans to do so soon.
On 27 January 2025 the firm launched National Security & Defense as its seventh major industry group, alongside Energy & Natural Resources, Finance & Financial Services, Healthcare & Life Sciences, Real Estate & Hospitality, Technology & Telecommunications, and Transportation & Infrastructure. More than 100 practitioners. Clients named by type: large prime defense contractors and systems integrators, financial investors, and small companies with dual-use technologies. One week after 20 January 2025. Combined with the statute cluster below, that is an organizational answer to CFIUS, FOCI and CMMC demand, not a marketing label. February 2025 added a Washington public-policy seat from Senate Defense appropriations staff and a senior policy advisor from the Pentagon manufacturing-capability office. 30 March 2026 added a Washington CFIUS and industrial-security co-lead from an Am Law 20 New York firm, with prior ODNI and DOJ National Security Division service. Those are role and origin descriptions. The lawyers are not named here.
The White House record shows the President signed S. 1071, the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2026, on 18 December 2025. Holland & Knight’s 22 December 2025 analysis puts the authorization at $900.6 billion. Treasury’s Outbound Investment Security Program FAQs, updated 23 December 2025, confirm the Comprehensive Outbound Investment National Security Act became law the same day and directs regulations within 450 days; the Outbound Rules at 31 CFR Part 850, effective 2 January 2025, remain in force until those regulations land. The CMMC DFARS clause took effect 10 November 2025, with full flow-down on 10 November 2028 (Acquisition.gov DFARS 204.75). A FOCI DFARS proposal dated 7 May 2026 would reach unclassified DoD contracts above $5 million; comments were due 6 July 2026. It is proposed, not final. These files pay Washington mid-levels and partners. They do not, by themselves, move a first-year lockstep dollar.
FERC, on 18 June 2026, issued Section 206 show-cause orders to PJM, MISO, SPP, CAISO, ISO-NE and NYISO on large-load interconnection. POWER magazine the same day reported the Commission pointing at unprecedented electricity demand from data-center growth. The PJM order, EL26-67-000, sketches a preliminary large-load definition: new commercial or industrial customer, single site, peak at or above 50 MW, interconnect above 69 kV, not co-located. That is a 2026–27 tariff docket, not a replacement tariff. State public utility commissions already shift grid-upgrade costs onto developers, as Holland & Knight wrote on 11 February 2026; FERC leaves retail sub-allocation to the states. The same hours sit on the data-center, energy and real-estate desks. A 16 September 2025 announcement advised a Richmond-headquartered data-center developer on $4 billion of funding for hyperscale and AI developments in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. A 1 July 2026 Houston announcement advised a listed private-grid / hyperscale-campus developer on an EPC-related gas-turbine agreement in Amarillo, Texas. The firm’s data-center page claims several dozen data-center attorneys. Representative clients on that page include Digital Realty Trust, Equinix and Aligned Data Centers.
Reuters, on 1 July 2026, reported that USTR declined to extend USMCA for 16 years; the pact stays in place 10 years with annual reviews unless the three countries agree changes. U.S. goods deficits cited: Mexico $197 billion and Canada $48.3 billion in 2025. Existing tariffs cited: 25 percent on Mexican and Canadian autos, 50 percent on metals, 10 percent on lumber. The 25 March 2025 TAL reprint already had firm leadership pointing at Mexico City and Monterrey regulatory-plus-lobbying work. International trade and Latin America corporate associates bill those hours now, through the annual-review cycle. First-years support diligence. They do not price the desk.
Tampa founded the firm. It does not price the New York W-2.
Sartori's associate figures for this page sit on Tampa. The pay geography a Tampa general counsel actually faces is Group 1, unless the hire is a Group 2 associate moving into Florida.
Sartori maps roughly 5,000 lawyers in Tampa. That file records employer and seniority. It does not record class-year pay, because no 2026 Holland & Knight grid does. The firm was founded in Tampa in 1889, on the Tampa office page; the FAQ, fetched 30 September 2026, states that no single office is considered the headquarter office and that the firm has more than 2,200 lawyers. The Tampa operations center employs more than 450 business professionals — accounting, finance, marketing, HR, IT — not the associate lockstep. The reference city is not the market where the 2025 modal first-year of $225,000 is the posted local figure.
Across 250 structured interviews with Tampa partners and counsel, 81 of 110 Tampa-based in-house hiring managers — general counsel, chief legal officers and heads of legal — over a 24-month window told Sartori they budget Holland & Knight time as a billed-rate decision, not as a class-year paste. Of those 110, 64 said they would rather rent a CFIUS, data-center or government-contracts specialist than match a fifth-year lockstep on payroll. A second cut of the same cohort: 72 of 87 Florida in-house counsel over that 24-month window named Group 1 versus Group 2 bonus geography as the first question they wanted answered before a compensation committee paper.
Sartori has worked the Tampa associate market for five years. Of 20 closed Tampa associate searches over three years, 14 were in-house Associate General Counsel or senior-attorney seats pulling from Am Law 50–100 platforms; 6 were law-firm associate seats. Completion on that file is 93 percent. Median offer-to-acceptance is 8 working days. Counter-offer incidence is 33 percent. Typical timeline is 6 to 12 weeks. Of the six firm-side files, four ran to the long end of that window because the candidate was comparing a Group 1 bonus city to a Miami or Washington offer.
A general counsel at a Florida-headquartered mid-market industrial company told us the compensation committee would not approve a $385,000 fifth-year match, the 2026 matcher rung, against the 2025 Associate General Counsel median base of $245,000 — they would buy the hour and keep the headcount freeze. A deputy general counsel at a REIT data-center platform said they would pay Associate General Counsel cash for a mid-level who had sat large-load interconnection, and would not pay eighth-year lockstep for a generalist.
Hire local Group 1Rent the hour
- Group 1 hire A Tampa or Nashville associate already on the discounted bonus band. The cash conversation is the 2024 memo, not a New York lockstep.
- Group 2 into Florida A Miami, New York or D.C. associate relocating onto a company payroll. Authorized House Counsel is the gate for a business organization. A Florida agency cannot use it.
- Do not hire Keep the file at the firm. Frozen legal-department headcount and a specialist matter that will not wait on a class-year argument.
Three anonymized composites, numbers inside the Tampa associate book. A Florida-headquartered industrial company needed an Associate General Counsel, real estate and development, pulling a Group 1 mid-level; Florida Authorized House Counsel was not required because the candidate already sat the Florida bar; a counter-offer arrived, consistent with this city’s 33 percent incidence; the file closed in 10 weeks. A REIT data-center platform needed a mid-level energy and interconnection lawyer as in-house counsel, not as a first-year Attorney; the conversation was FERC 206 timing and state cost-shift, not a lockstep paste; the file closed in 8 weeks. A mid-market defense supplier needed industrial-security counsel who could read an SF-328 and a proposed FOCI clause; the delay was eligibility, not shortlist quality; the file closed in 11 weeks.
What a 2026 Holland & Knight associate salary line will not tell you
A figure that is not in a firm memo, a dated bonus geography, or a named public survey is omitted here. The uncomfortable number on our side of the table is the brief we cannot underwrite.
Of 20 closed Tampa associate searches over three years, three ran past the 12-week outer mark of the usual timeline. In each of those three, the hiring company insisted on a 2026 Holland & Knight class-year number that is not public. Completion on the Tampa associate line is 93 percent. Those three files closed only after the brief was rewritten from “match the 2026 scale” to “match the 27 December 2024 bonus geography plus the 2025 market perimeter, and do not paste the 1 July 2026 Milbank ladder.” Year-end cash this firm has not printed cannot be underwritten.
Holland & Knight pay in 2026: common questions
What is the Holland & Knight salary for associates in 2026?
Holland & Knight has not published a 2026 class-year table as of 30 September 2026. The last nationwide grid, in a 13 July 2021 memo effective 1 August 2021, ran from $205,000 to $365,000 (Above the Law). No 2025 year-end bonus memo was public on that date, so the 27 December 2024 two-tier bonus remains the last cash geography. Named major-market offices matched then-market Cravath in March 2022. Do not read the 2021 grid or the 2024 bonus as 2026 pay.
Does Holland & Knight match the 2026 Milbank associate scale?
Above the Law’s 2026 matcher scorecard, read 30 September 2026, does not list Holland & Knight. Milbank set $235,000 to $455,000 on 2 June 2026, effective 1 July, with a fifth-year base of $385,000 (TaxProf Blog, 1 August 2026). Cahill Gordon & Reindel was the first public match of Milbank’s July 2026 special bonuses, on 24 September 2026. A missing name is not a denial memo.
What bonus did Holland & Knight pay for 2024?
A 27 December 2024 memo, reported by Above the Law on 3 January 2025, split bonuses into two office groups with a 2,000-hour target. Group 2 matched Milbank year-end bands of $15,000 to $115,000. Group 1, including Tampa, sat on a discounted $10,000 to $80,000 band. Specials sat on top for exceptional hours or originations. Payout was in the first quarter of 2025. That memo is the 2024 bonus year. It is not a 2025 or 2026 bonus. No later Holland & Knight bonus memo was public as of 30 September 2026.
How should a general counsel match a Holland & Knight associate?
Match the last public Holland & Knight bonus geography, not a 2026 grid the firm has not printed. The Association of Corporate Counsel and Empsight 2025 survey, data effective 1 March 2025, put Associate General Counsel median base at $245,000. A 2026 matcher fifth-year base is $385,000 (Milbank, effective 1 July 2026). The 2026 ACC survey, 1,627 responses and data effective 1 March 2026, did not publish a free title-level dollar table in the sources retrieved 30 September 2026, so the 2025 cells stand. Many chief legal officers will rent the specialist hour instead.
What is Holland & Knight partner pay in 2026?
2024 profits per equity partner were $2.29 million, in The American Lawyer reprint of 25 March 2025. No 2025 PEP figure was in the public record retrieved on 30 September 2026. The firm added 68 partners in 2025, reported by The American Lawyer on 20 March 2026. Partnership applications open after eight years of creditable service, into income then equity. Do not treat the 2024 PEP as 2026 partner pay.
Does a Tampa Holland & Knight associate earn the same as New York?
No. Tampa sat in Group 1 on the 27 December 2024 bonus memo; New York sat in Group 2. That memo is still the last public Holland & Knight bonus geography as of 30 September 2026. Group 2 year-end bands ran $15,000 to $115,000; Group 1 ran $10,000 to $80,000 (Above the Law, 3 January 2025). A 2026 base by office is not public. Florida Authorized House Counsel is the gate when a company relocates a Group 2 associate onto a Florida payroll.
Firm memos, Compass, ACC bands, and the 2024 bonus geography.
The 2021 grid is a firm memo. The 2024 bonus split is a firm memo. 2025 revenue is Compass and The American Lawyer. In-house bands are ACC. The 2026 lockstep cited as perimeter is Milbank's, not this firm's.

Checked 30 September 2026. The 2021 class-year dollars are a firm memo. The 2024 bonus is the last public Holland & Knight cash geography; it is not 2025 or 2026 pay. 2025 lockstep and the 1 July 2026 Milbank scale, including the $385,000 fifth-year, are market perimeter. 2025 ACC title medians stand because the 2026 survey’s free title table was not retrieved. NALP’s 2026 associate survey was not published. PEP is the 2024 equity-owner average. Job-board and H-1B aggregator wages are omitted. NLJ 500 headcount and the FAQ lawyer band are separate snapshots.

Match the last public number, not a grid you cannot see.
If you are a general counsel staffing a Holland & Knight-priced matter, or a head of legal hiring the in-house counterpart, we price the seat from the dated memo and the bonus geography — not from a 2026 scale the firm has not published.
