We are seeking a Subscription Document Attorney to join the subscription agreement review team within a leading asset management group. This is an off-track position that can be based in either New York or Washington, DC.

The role focuses on reviewing and negotiating investor subscription and transfer documents on behalf of private equity sponsor clients. Training will be provided to the right candidate, making this an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to develop a specialized practice in asset management documentation.

This is a client-facing role involving frequent direct contact with clients, and compensation is commensurate with a first-year associate.

J.D. and admission to the DC or NY Bar (pending admission acceptable)
Strong academic credentials
Knowledge of securities law is a plus but not required
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to present well to clients; client-facing role with frequent direct client contact
Exceptional work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
