Small- to mid-sized litigation role within a national insurance defence practice based in Seattle. The team handles a broad range of liability matters, including insurance coverage and bad faith, catastrophic injury and wrongful death, UIM defense, premises liability, transportation claims, and related employment and property disputes.

The position involves all phases of civil litigation: drafting pleadings and motions, conducting discovery, preparing and taking depositions, attending hearings and mediations, developing case strategies, and preparing matters for trial. You will regularly communicate with insurer clients and insureds and participate in client-facing workstreams.

Active admission to practice in Washington state
Civil litigation experience, preferably with insurance defence matters
Strong legal research, drafting and oral advocacy skills
Experience taking depositions and handling hearings/mediations
Excellent organisation, time-management and case-management abilities
