Join a specialist Bermuda Form insurance and reinsurance team in London that handles high-value coverage disputes and arbitrations under the Bermuda Form, acting for insurers and reinsurers across sectors such as product liability, pollution, D&O and large excess liability claims. The team routinely manages document‑intensive, multi‑jurisdictional arbitrations and related English Court proceedings.

As an Associate you will advise on complex insurance, reinsurance and regulatory matters, with significant involvement in coverage disputes, arbitration strategy, transactional insurance work and BMA/regulatory compliance. The role includes client-facing responsibility, working closely with senior lawyers and contributing to team development.

Strong technical expertise in insurance and reinsurance law, including coverage analysis and policy interpretation
Practical experience of Bermuda Form arbitrations and multi‑jurisdictional insurance disputes
Knowledge of the Bermuda insurance market and regulatory frameworks (including BMA requirements)
Experience of litigation, arbitration and ADR; comfortable with document‑intensive matters
Excellent drafting and negotiation skills (policy wordings, coverage opinions, settlements)
Commercial judgment, client management skills and experience mentoring junior lawyers
