Associate — Catastrophic Injury (Employers' & Public Liability), Manchester

A market-leading catastrophic injury team is seeking an Associate with 2–5 years' post-qualification experience to join its Manchester office. The role involves managing a caseload of complex, multi-track Employers' Liability and Public Liability matters, with a strong focus on catastrophic and large-loss personal injury claims.

You will work on technically demanding matters for insurer and corporate clients, supporting senior lawyers, instructing experts and counsel, and taking ownership of liability investigations, quantum assessment and strategic case management. The team values collaborative working, technical excellence and high-quality client service.

• Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 2–5 years' PQE
• Proven experience handling Employers' Liability and Public Liability claims, ideally including catastrophic/large-loss matters
• Comfortable managing multi-track litigation and running cases with limited supervision
• Strong technical drafting, investigation and stakeholder management skills (experts, counsel, clients)
• Commercial awareness, client-focused approach and ability to contribute to team BD and knowledge-sharing
