A leading international law firm is seeking an associate to join its Litigation group within its Business and Commercial subgroup. This position is open in the firm's Los Angeles and San Francisco offices.

The role involves managing and supporting complex litigation, arbitration, investigations, and dispute resolution matters from inception through resolution. Responsibilities include developing case strategies, drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery documents, conducting and defending depositions, preparing witnesses and clients for hearings and trial, and managing discovery processes including document review and e-discovery.

The successful candidate will collaborate with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and internal teams to advance litigation strategy and achieve favorable outcomes while monitoring legal developments and procedural rules relevant to active matters. At least 2 years of relevant business and commercial litigation experience
California state court experience
California Bar admission
JD degree
Federal court clerkship is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively and independently
