Corporate M&A Associate — Atlanta

A leading global law firm is seeking a corporate associate with at least two years of M&A experience to join its sophisticated mergers and acquisitions practice in Atlanta. This role offers meaningful ownership of transaction workstreams from deal inception through closing and the opportunity to deliver outstanding client service on complex, fast-moving matters.

You will draft, review, and negotiate principal transaction documents, manage and execute due diligence, and help translate diligence findings into transaction documents and deal process planning. You will also drive and organize deal execution and closings, including managing through aggressive timelines, and collaborate with specialists across finance, tax, benefits, real estate, IP, and litigation to keep matters moving on schedule.

• JD from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
• At least 2 years of M&A experience, preferably in a large or similarly sophisticated law firm environment
• Demonstrated ability to run substantial components of transactions from early deal stages through closing
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills, including comfort interacting directly with clients and internal deal teams
• Must be barred in the state of Georgia
