Leading US law firm is seeking a lateral associate with 3–6 years' experience to join its Boston employment team focused on transactional and employment-related matters for private equity and strategic clients.

The role centers on counseling clients on employment issues in M&A and private equity transactions, conducting employment due diligence, drafting and negotiating employment agreements, separation and restrictive covenant agreements, and supporting pre‑litigation and litigation matters with senior attorneys.

3–6 years post‑qualification experience handling employment aspects of private equity or M&A transactions
Experience drafting and negotiating employment agreements, offer letters, separation agreements and restrictive covenant agreements
Familiarity with wage & hour, discrimination, leave/disability, and employment investigations
Strong drafting, interpersonal and client‑management skills; ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
Admission to practice in Massachusetts or eligibility to obtain admission promptly
