Associate, Energy & Infrastructure M&A — Houston

Senior associate role in a national energy & infrastructure M&A practice based in Houston. The team advises sponsors, developers, funds and infrastructure owners on complex acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and strategic transactions across power, renewables and infrastructure sectors.

The position combines private equity M&A and project-finance work: leading and supporting transactions from bid process through closing, and handling cross-disciplinary corporate and financing issues. The role is suited to a lawyer who enjoys sophisticated, deal-oriented work in the energy and infrastructure space.

• 4-7 years post-qualification experience in private equity M&A
• Demonstrable experience on energy, power, renewables or infrastructure transactions
• Experience with project finance, joint ventures and complex acquisition/divestiture processes
• Strong transactional drafting and deal-management skills; ability to lead deals to closing
• J.D. (or equivalent) and admission to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction
