Highly regarded international law firm is looking for an Environmental/Regulatory Associate to join its Düsseldorf office. The role sits in a team that advises on environmental, planning and regulatory matters across transactional, advisory and contentious work.

The team acts for corporates, project developers and other stakeholders on permitting, environmental compliance, site remediation, regulatory risk and related planning issues. The position offers exposure to cross-border mandates and multi-disciplinary matters with commercial and regulatory dimensions.

Qualified lawyer in Germany (or equivalent EU qualification) with relevant environmental/regulatory experience.
Practical experience advising on permitting, environmental compliance, planning or regulatory disputes.
Fluent German and strong English (written and spoken).
Strong academic record, excellent drafting skills and ability to work in a team on complex matters.
