Leading international practice group in Frankfurt seeks an associate to join its Government Regulation team. The role involves advising predominantly international clients on public commercial law and regulated-industry matters, working across regulatory, constitutional/European law and transactional public-law issues.

Workstreams include regulation of telecommunications and transport sectors, environmental and planning law, and foreign trade/regulatory compliance. The role offers exposure to high-level regulatory mandates and cross-border mandates within an international team.

The team values practical, commercially minded legal advice and offers collaborative work with experienced regulators and transactional practitioners.

Successfully completed both German state examinations in law (Preferably VB)
Excellent written and spoken German and English
Study or work experience in an English-speaking jurisdiction preferred
Ph.D. in law welcome but not required
Strong team player, able to operate in an international, fast-paced environment
