Top-tier international law firm is recruiting an associate to join its Frankfurt investigations team, with a focus on asset tracing, recovery and litigation support arising from compliance investigations.

The role involves cross-border work: securing and analysing evidence, developing and executing international asset-tracing and recovery strategies, and enforcing civil claims (including post‑M&A, D&O and tort claims) in national and international proceedings and settlements.

You'll work closely with global teams and be encouraged to use LegalTech and AI tools as part of the investigative and litigation process. The team offers structured professional development, inclusive networks and wellbeing support.

German legal qualification: two fully passed state examinations (vollbefriedigend or equivalent)
Practical experience or strong interest in investigations, asset tracing, fraud and cross‑border enforcement
Good written and spoken English; ability to work on international matters
Commercial mindset, strong teamwork skills and enthusiasm for technical tools (LegalTech/AI)
