We are seeking German-qualified lawyers to strengthen an IP/Tech practice group within a dynamic, internationally oriented commercial law firm. The role is based in Düsseldorf or Stuttgart, working on national and international mandates spanning the full breadth of intellectual property and technology law.

IP/Tech is treated as a standalone practice area with numerous interfaces to other disciplines such as antitrust, public commercial law and IT law, enabling genuinely comprehensive advice through a full-service approach. You will work at the forefront of topics including the Unified Patent Court, green brands, artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things.

The practice group covers patent law, trademark law, unfair competition including its regulatory dimensions (ESG, product compliance), digital economy matters (software, data, AI, IoT) and IP transactions such as licensing and cooperation arrangements.

At least fully satisfactory results in both state examinations
Ideally relevant prior experience in IP/Tech
Fluent, negotiation-level English, preferably gained through time spent abroad
Additional qualifications such as an LL.M. or doctorate are welcome
Strategic thinking, solution-oriented approach and the ability to contribute your own ideas, with commitment, team spirit, a sense of responsibility and openness to new technologies and working methods
