Apply in confidence →Top-tier law firm seeks a lateral associate to join its Real Estate group in the New York office. The team advises developers, investors, lenders and operators on complex acquisitions, dispositions, financings, joint ventures, leasing and REIT-related matters.
Ideal candidates will have transactional real estate experience at a comparable law firm and demonstrated ability to manage deal work across acquisitions, debt financings, leasing and fund/joint venture structures. This is a position for experienced lawyers; current students are not eligible.
- Minimum 3 years' post-qualification transactional real estate experience at a law firm
- Strong experience with acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and real estate financings
- Familiarity with REIT matters, joint ventures and fund structures preferred
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and client-service skills; ability to manage complex transactions
