Associate — Securities Regulation & Corporate Governance, Orange County

A growing securities and corporate governance team is hiring an associate to support public-company advisory work. The role focuses on corporate governance counseling, IPO-related governance matters and securities law compliance for listed and listing-bound issuers.

Day-to-day work will include drafting and reviewing governance policies and disclosure, advising on Exchange Act disclosure obligations, and supporting transactional and compliance matters with senior lawyers. The team seeks candidates who can work independently on substantive research and client-facing drafting.

• Law school class years 2020 024
• Experience advising public companies on corporate governance, including governance issues arising in IPOs
• Familiarity with securities regulation and Exchange Act disclosure requirements
• Strong academic record and excellent drafting and research skills
