Seeking a litigation associate to join a busy Chicago trial team handling general liability, product liability, premises liability and catastrophic-injury matters. The role involves full case responsibility from investigation and discovery through motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation.

Typical responsibilities include managing a caseload of roughly 10 20 matters, developing case strategies, drafting and responding to discovery and motions, taking and defending depositions, and preparing pre-trial and trial materials. The position requires regular, professional interaction with opposing counsel and clients.

2 6 years of litigation experience, with substantial trial and defense work
Experience taking/defending depositions, drafting/responding to discovery, and motion practice
Strong legal research and writing skills (Westlaw experience preferred)
Licensed to practice in Illinois
Proactive, organized, effective oral advocate with strong interpersonal skills; ability to manage multiple matters
