A busy trial and defense team in Miami seeks an Associate with approximately 3 years of civil litigation experience to assist on a broad range of defense matters, including general liability, premises liability, negligent security, wrongful death, construction, automotive accidents, property damage and product liability. You will work alongside experienced litigators and gain hands-on courtroom and case-management experience.

Day-to-day responsibilities include legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, preparing briefs, taking and defending depositions, participating in hearings and mediations, and interviewing clients and witnesses. The role involves significant client contact and regular reporting on case status.

Admitted to practice in Florida
Approximately 3 years' civil litigation experience (PQE ≈ 3)
Strong legal research and writing skills
Experience with depositions, hearings, and trial preparation
