An international law firm seeks a French-qualified lawyer to join its Leveraged & Infrastructure Finance team in Paris, working predominantly on energy and infrastructure matters. The team brings together associates and legal professionals of diverse nationalities and advises leading French and international banks, Infratech and EnergyTech SPVs, project sponsors, investment funds and major corporates.

The practice covers a broad range of banking and finance transactions, including cross-border leveraged finance, syndicated lending, debt restructurings and project finance.

Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating clear, precise legal documents tailored to client needs; identifying pragmatic legal solutions through rigorous analysis and effective research; assessing legal risk and ensuring compliance of advice; maintaining technical expertise through continuous legal monitoring; and managing matters diligently in line with internal procedures, time-recording deadlines and conflicts checks.

Qualified lawyer admitted to the Paris Bar
Excellent academic background, including a specialised Master's in banking and financial law
Strong drafting and legal analysis skills
Fluent French and English, written and spoken
Client-focused, pragmatic approach with sound matter management
Commercial awareness, strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative team ethos in an international, multidisciplinary environment
