We are seeking a mid-level to senior associate (3–6 years PQE) to join a leading Capital Markets practice in Charlotte, focused on securities and public company advisory work, with a particular emphasis on agency CMBS securitizations.

The role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating the core documents that drive commercial mortgage loan securitization transactions — including pooling and servicing agreements, offering documents, mortgage loan purchase agreements, certificate purchase agreements, and placement agency agreements — as well as preparing legal opinions and related contracts.

The successful candidate will also manage the closing process for complex transactions, coordinating multiple workstreams and parties to ensure successful and timely execution.

3–6 years of experience in capital markets or securitization work
Demonstrated experience with commercial mortgage loan securitizations and related transaction documents
Experience managing closing processes for complex transactions
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Team-oriented with a solid work ethic and proactive sense of ownership
Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school and Bar membership in the United States
