A leading national firm is seeking an experienced lawyer to join its market-leading Casualty Injury team in Birmingham. The team acts for over 40 insurers and self-insured corporates, managing a caseload of employers' liability and public liability claims valued up to £100k, with exposure to more complex matters.

This is an excellent opportunity to handle a varied caseload of both pre-litigated and litigated defendant work, including claims expected to be allocated to the Intermediate or Multi Track. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.

The role is open to experienced paralegals, solicitors and CILEx lawyers, and candidates with claimant, insurance or in-house backgrounds are welcome to apply.

Experienced paralegal, qualified solicitor or CILEx equivalent
Previous experience handling employers' liability and public liability claims
Claimant, insurance or in-house experience considered
Confident, professional client handling and communication skills
Commercial approach to legal issues
Team-oriented with a willingness to share knowledge and support junior colleagues
