Apply in confidence →Law firm seeking a commercial real estate finance associate to join a busy Real Estate Finance team in Charlotte. The role focuses on representing banks, insurance companies, debt funds and other lenders in the financing of commercial properties.
Typical work includes loan origination and documentation, title/survey/lease and other commercial property diligence, and related real estate lending matters. Candidates should expect a varied practice that may include lender-side and some owner/operator, developer or leasing matters. The position is eligible for performance-based bonuses and standard employee benefits.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in commercial real estate finance or lending (lender-side experience preferred)
- Experience with title, survey, lease and commercial property diligence and loan origination
- Exposure to mezzanine financing, CMBS/securitization or syndication is a plus
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and membership in a U.S. state bar
