We are seeking a junior to midlevel associate to join a nationally recognized Communications practice. The role involves sophisticated telecommunications, broadband, wireless, and technology matters before state and federal regulatory agencies and courts.

The associate will advise clients on cutting-edge regulatory, policy, litigation, and compliance issues involving communications technologies, emerging platforms, artificial intelligence, and consumer protection. Responsibilities include legal research, drafting memoranda and agency filings, supporting enforcement proceedings, and collaborating across offices and practice groups.

This position offers direct client exposure, meaningful responsibility, and mentorship within a collaborative team environment.

JD from an accredited law school
Admission to practice in California
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience at a law firm
Experience or demonstrated interest in telecommunications, administrative law, technology policy, AI governance, broadband, media, or consumer protection
Prior experience with CPUC, FCC, NTIA, or another state or federal regulatory agency is strongly preferred
Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills
Excellent academic credentials
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment
