Join a busy contentious trusts and probate team within a well-regarded private client group in London. The team acts for high-net-worth individuals, family offices, trustees and fiduciaries on complex, often cross-border, trust and estate disputes.

The role offers hands-on contentious private client work across the full dispute lifecycle, from pre-action advice and mediation through to High Court litigation. You will manage your own caseload under supervision, draft pleadings and witness statements, attend hearings and mediations, and liaise directly with sophisticated clients and intermediaries.

The team is collaborative and offers clear development opportunities, training and exposure to high-value, cross-border matters for candidates seeking to deepen their contentious private client experience.

4-5 years PQE in contentious trusts & probate or equivalent private client litigation experience
Proven experience of High Court litigation, drafting pleadings and witness statements
Experience with trust disputes (breach of trust, removal of trustees, validity of wills, Inheritance Act claims) and cross-border matters
Excellent technical ability, strong drafting and attention to detail; good client-facing and interpersonal skills
Commercial awareness and interest in the private wealth sector; STEP/ACTAPS qualification or progress desirable
