Corporate Associate – Emerging Companies, Venture Capital & M&A

A leading law firm is seeking junior to midlevel associates to join its Corporate practice across multiple West Coast offices. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated middle-market transactions within technology and startup ecosystems while taking on meaningful responsibility on deal teams.

Associates will work closely with partners, counsel, and peers to advise private companies, private equity sponsors, venture capital funds, and founders on a broad range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, venture financings, and corporate governance.

The practice emphasizes collaboration, mentorship, and early responsibility, with substantive client contact and hands-on involvement throughout the deal lifecycle.

• 1–5 years of corporate transactional experience at a law firm.
• Experience with mergers and acquisitions, venture financings, emerging companies, and general corporate matters preferred.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and workstreams in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Demonstrated interest in advising private companies, investors, and founders.
• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission (or eligibility for admission) in the state where the position is based.
