A leading law firm is seeking a corporate associate with 3+ years of private equity transactional experience to join its M&A practice in Boston. The firm's corporate team blends legal expertise with practical business counseling, advising clients on a wide range of issues affecting commercial, financial, and industrial enterprises, both public and private.

The practice covers all aspects of the private equity market, including fundraising and investment fund formation, direct investments, portfolio company management and acquisitions, and platform exits. Clients include global commingled funds, independent sponsors, and family offices.

The successful candidate will work independently and as part of a team, integrate quickly into a robust national corporate practice, and commit to delivering high-quality client service across a broad range of complex transactions. The firm requires approximately 60% in-office work in accordance with published guidelines.

JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school
Admitted or eligible for admission in Massachusetts
3+ years of M&A and private equity transactional experience
Experience with acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, joint ventures, private equity funds, and financial institutions
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong academic credentials and critical reasoning skills
Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and balance competing responsibilities
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Collaborative team player
