We are seeking a mid-level corporate associate to join a busy corporate group in the San Diego office of a nationally recognized law firm. The role focuses on public- and private-company matters, with responsibility for supporting capital markets transactions, SEC (’34 Act) reporting and exchange compliance, and general corporate governance work.

Ideal candidates will regularly manage client-facing workstreams, handle day-to-day requests from public company clients, and contribute to financings, M&A and growth-company transactions. The team values experience gained at national or international law firms and a strong academic record.

4–7 years of corporate transactional experience (public and/or private companies)
Experience with capital markets transactions and SEC (’34 Act) reporting, corporate governance, and exchange compliance
Experience on financings, M&A, or high-growth company matters preferred
Prior experience at a national or international law firm and strong academic credentials
Ability to manage client relationships and day-to-day public company workflows
