Corporate M&A Associate (Mid-Senior Level)

An Am Law 50 global law firm seeks a mid-senior level Corporate Associate to join its dynamic Corporate Practice. The role offers the opportunity to work with clients of all sizes across a variety of industries nationwide.

The associate will handle significant corporate transactions with an emphasis on public M&A, take-private transactions, and general corporate governance. The firm provides competitive compensation and an excellent benefits package.

• 4–7 years of significant experience in corporate transactions, with an emphasis on public M&A, take-private transactions, and general corporate governance
• Strong working knowledge of acquisition agreements and other documentation used in complex M&A transactions, with proficiency in drafting such documents
• Well-versed in the mechanics of leading an M&A transaction from inception to closing, including experience leading due diligence teams
• Strong interpersonal skills, a high degree of maturity, and a proven willingness to accept significant responsibility
• Ability to work independently, manage a challenging workload in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate effectively across practice areas
• Strong academic credentials and writing skills
