Apply in confidence →The Cyber/Data/Privacy practice group is seeking a midlevel associate to join its litigation and regulatory enforcement practice. The team handles privacy and data security matters, including investigations, class actions, and consumer protection disputes, across the U.S., UK, Europe, and Asia.
- Defend data privacy and security class actions, including claims under the Stored Communications Act, wiretapping laws, unfair and deceptive trade practices, and data breach litigation.
- Handle regulatory investigations and enforcement actions involving state attorneys general, the FTC, and other agencies.
- Engage directly with clients and lead significant projects.
Ideal candidates will have 4–6 years of experience in privacy and data security litigation or regulatory investigations, a high level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school, strong analytical and writing skills, and general tech fluency.
- 4–6 years of experience in privacy and data security litigation and/or regulatory enforcement.
- Experience with consumer protection issues before state AGs, FTC, or similar agencies, and/or defending data privacy class actions.
- High level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school.
- Ability to engage directly with clients and lead significant projects.
- Impeccable analytical and writing skills.
