A nationally recognized law firm's Cyber/Data/Privacy practice group is seeking a midlevel associate to join its growing litigation and investigations team. This is an opportunity to work within a sizable multidisciplinary group of attorneys across the US, UK, Europe, and Asia that continues to expand its award-winning privacy and data security litigation practice.

The role focuses on litigation and regulatory enforcement investigations involving privacy and data security matters, including consumer protection issues before state attorneys general, the FTC, and other regulatory agencies, as well as defending data privacy and security class actions.

The position is open across multiple offices, including New York, San Francisco, Chicago, and Washington, DC. Candidates should be prepared to engage directly with clients and lead significant projects in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

4–6 years of experience in litigation and/or regulatory enforcement investigations involving privacy and data security
Experience with consumer protection matters before state AGs, the FTC, or other regulatory agencies
Experience defending data privacy and security class actions, including statutory communications, wiretapping, unfair/deceptive trade practice, and data breach claims
High level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school
General tech fluency with impeccable analytical and writing skills
Ability to engage directly with clients and lead significant projects
