We are seeking an experienced and credible emerging companies and venture capital lawyer to join our growing San Francisco office. This is a key hire as we build out our Bay Area platform, which currently includes a strong team focused on formation through sale or IPO, as well as a dedicated venture-backed M&A practice.

Represent emerging companies and venture capital clients in a range of corporate and transactional matters.
Work within a collaborative, transparent partnership that values trust, collegiality, and a genuine ”no assholes” culture.
Contribute to a leading national platform with approximately 100 lawyers dedicated to emerging company venture capital, supported by a top-tier middle-market transactional practice.

The ideal candidate will be a true market startup lawyer—one who is deeply embedded in the emerging company venture capital ecosystem and is recognized by peers and clients alike. Proven experience in venture capital financings, formation, and exits is essential. A strong client following and the ability to thrive in a close-knit, high-trust partnership are required.
